The M.A. in TESOL and Applied Linguistics provides an outstanding professional qualification for a career in teaching English to adults or teenagers. The carefully constructed curriculum includes current models of second language acquisition, the sound system and sentence structure of English, methods for teaching and assessing English, and a capstone experience of teaching English in a department-led program for the local community.
